Surgery in one week very nervous!!
I'm 7 weeks out and thrilled that I did this!! The first weeks were a big adjustment time, but pretty soon everything becomes a normal routine. Just keep yourself distracted for the next week by lots of activity and your surgery will be here and then done before you know it!!

Keeping super busy organizing and preparing for WLS helps. I did all sorts of things probably not necessary but made time go quicker: cleaned and organized everything, attended WLS support groups anywhere I could find one even if it meant driving far, met with and talked with whomever would talk to me. One thing that gave me an incredible amount of peace and LOWERED my anxiety was completing pre-funeral planning just in case things went terribly wrong.
